JOM Students Enjoy Cultural Field Trip

On November 16th, seven Okemah students from grades 7-12 enjoyed a cultural field trip. Students attended a make-and-take workshop called “Storytelling and Corn Husk Dolls” with Brittney Cuevas. After finishing the workshop, students toured the College of the Muscogee Nation and had lunch on campus. Students who attended are Eli Tilley, Dezie Coachman, Jennifer Hill, Sydney Davenport, Summer Davenport, Summer Hicks, and Kadence Bass; also attending as sponsors were Mrs. Marc’ette Lucas, Marc Gibson, and Carol Thompson.
